I thought I would share a few links with you that I hit every day. Keep in mind that I am a techie geek so unless you are of the same ilk you may not appreciate them.
On another note, Google has come out with a new personalized home page. It’s pretty nifty. You can set it up to track other sites (like Cnet news, MSNBC, Fox, etc). It will then provide you with a list of new links from these sites so that you can have a summary screen instead of just one site as your home page. It also displays weather, word of the day, stocks, your gmail account, etc. If you want to check it our you can see it at: http://www.google.com/ig .
I think you might have to have a Gmail/Google account to get this set-up. If you don’t, go here to set up a Google account: https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount .
If you need a Gmail account and don’t have one send me a message and I will forward you an invite.
P.S. – Here’s what mine looks like (click HERE for a full sized image):
I must apologize for my lack of posting. I haven’t felt like I had much to say since the holidays. As many of you know, last year was really hard on my family (lost my Dad and my Grandmother within 2 months). I want to thank everyone that came through for us, especially those that helped with the triplets and took care of us during all of this. It’s pretty strange now that they are both gone. I didn’t realize how much I relied on my parents/grandparents for my comfort. Knowing that they will always be there for you is a great feeling. When they are gone you have to become (mentally) more self reliant.
Everything down here in Texas is going pretty well. Jan’s triplets are just about to start sleeping through the night (finally). They are a blast to be around at this age (10 months). Katie is involved in a lot of activities (soccer, softball, etc etc).
I have begun to train again on the bike. I plan on trying to make one rally a weekend once the season starts up again. One of my best friends is trying to get me to join him on his racing team but I just don’t want to lose that much weight (read: strength). Work is also going well. We should have a few really good things to announce this spring so stay tuned if you watch the stock (that’s as specific I can be).
I promise I will put more effort into the blog now that I have it all moved over to my domain. You will notice that I put up a photo gallery sidebar item on the left. Most of the pictures are of Katie and the triplets (my sister’s kids). If you click on a picture it will take you to that particular gallery. You can navigate around from there.
