These hamsters are insane!

30th January 2007

The best part is at the end when the second hamster tries to stop.

Look closely.  The owner had an cycling computer attached to the wall and hooked up to the wheel.  They reached a 68 RPM cadence!

Enough with the iPhone already.

19th January 2007

I have about had all I can stand of the iPhone already. O.k, so it’s got a great interface. The only problem is that at it’s price point it is usually only business types buying a phone that expensive. This phone is NOT meant for business. The fact that it doesn’t have the ability to sync with Exchange Direct Push nor does it support a 3G network are limiting factors. It’s also not considered a smart phone. It’s a phone that plays music and surfs the web. It will not open Excel, Word or Powerpoint documents. In short, it’s a phone for well-to-do Apple Fanboys.

When I first saw the demo that Jobs gave I was interested in the phone because of the killer interface. The more I researched it, however, the less interested I became. If you are a business user forget about this phone.

Cool Electric Car…

13th January 2007

THE VOLT by Chevrolet

This is a great idea for an electric car. Stylish. Uses a combustion engine that is not connected to the drivetrain (used for recharging the batteries). It has a range of 40 miles on just the battery alone and a range of 640+ miles with a full tank of gas (12 gallons).

The artilce from autobloggreen.com is linked below. Just click on the image.

Clicking on any of the images of the car in the article will take you to a photo gallery of the car.
