Look out, Hillary is at it again with her socialized medicine kick.

Not good.

According to CNN,

“Clinton’s package would also require insurers to provide coverage for anyone who applies for it and would also bar insurance companies from charging people with greater health care costs more for their premiums.”

Whoa Nelly. How the heck are we going to shape up this country and/or provide FAIR health care to all citizens if you aren’t penalized for not taking care of yourself? This is a basic principle of an equitable system (those who cost the system more should PAY more). While I am all for the system taking care of those with serious health issues they did not necessarily bring on themselves (by BUFFERING their extreme cost with monies from healthy people), I am not in favor of continuing to coddle those that are simply too lazy to take care of their bodies. There is a difference between someone who has an inherited genetically transferred disease and someone who has obesity related illnesses. Those who participate in self destructive life style choices should pay a higher premium.

Another issue I have with her plan is that if you like the health care plan you currently have you can continue to use the plan but you are still required to kick in part of the 121 Billion dollars for everyone else? WTF. Do I also get tax credits for my health care if I don’t choose a “government” option?

All this amounts to is a HUGE tax increase.

I am not sure how the cost measurement actually plays out (121Bln over how many years?). However, you can rest assured that she won’t be able to pay for this plan with the funding method mentioned above. Not even close.

Very scary stuff. If your brain is functional, use it and vote for someone else.
