Despite the early predictions, those of us in Dallas didn’t see much from hurricane Rita.
A few windy gusts of up to 40mph and no rain. I was disappointed that we had no precipitation. It also took all of one day for the temperature to climb back into the upper 90′s. This has been one of the most consistently warm summer/fall seasons that I have experienced (in my 17 years in Dallas). I suppose this means that I will be cycling in shorts well into January (now that would be GREAT).
What a letdown (thankfully).
