This whole bail-out nonsense is infuriating. I am surprised that we haven’t seen an uprising from the responsible, frugal citizens of this country. The most I have heard some say is “what is the government going to do for me since it is bailing out everyone else less responsible”.
That sentiment should tell everyone something. The responsible, hard working subset of America has given up on government to stay out of their way as they attempt to secure the American Dream. They have given up on the possibility of having a life mostly free of intervention by Uncle Sam. They are starting to accept the fact that the rest of the country is a bunch of whining do-nothings that want a nanny state government to provide for their every need. They have accepted the fact that the whiners are winning.
Socialism NEVER results in a more dedicated, hard working and prosperous citizenry. Quite the contrary.
I don’t agree with everything Ron Paul comes up with but I agree 100% with him in his article below:
